The trouble is, for different age groups, the signal to noise ratio is different e.g. at younger ages, the current amplitudes are small so the signal to noise ratio is low, and vice versa. For further information, including about cookie settings, please read our Cookie Policy.By continuing to use this site, you consent to the use of cookies.Got it We value your privacy We use cookies to offer you a better experience, personalize content, tailor advertising, provide social media features, and better understand the use of our services.

When I convert my.smr file to.abf the resultant trace in clampfit has alot of noise that is not seen in spike2. These files are opening using Clampfit 10.4 to be analyzed using Minianalysis. Unfortunately, I can no longer analyze these files, but am unsure why. Clampfit How To Get MinianalysisCan anyone tell me how to get Minianalysis to analyze the files Relevant answer Cody Boyle Jan 19, 2020 Answer Yes, I can open the files in Clampfit and have been counting and binning the events manually this way. The files open in minianalysis, but the automated analysis will not run. As you can see from the images, preview of the waveform shows all the signals available (note: only the one I use has a physical digitizer-to-amplifier connection). One way to avoid is to us BIG monitor for better visulization. It is hoped to modify the program in the following version of pCLAMP. View 8 Recommendations What other option of analysis of miniature currents, other than the MiniAnalisis could you recommend me Question 3 answers Jan 16, 2019. Hello, my question is about the analysis of miniature currents. For weeks I tried to buy the program without success due to a failure of your SSL server. So far I have analyzed my records with the ClampFit threshold search option, taking into account that the parameters are not so specific and that they could alter the results obtained. If baseline at your data is not stable, you can not use the treshold search because of fluctations of baseline you are not able to select events. The detection of these small currents (amplitudes ranging between 10pA and 100pA, most of them are between 10pA to 30pA in size) have been a nightmare. What I have been doing currently is to create a template using the trace I record at each age with about 10 typical currents then detect the number of current wavelets using the template with varying detection threshold (1 to 4). The trouble is, for different age groups, the signal to noise ratio is different e.g.
