I recently setup a RPI4 4GB with retropie 4.6. I had only minor ID10T errors syncing and mapping my 8bitdo SN30 pro, but now they work fine. I ordered two Retrolink usb N64 style controllers (I wanted the Retrobit8bitdo RB8-64s, but one look at eBay will tell you why I didnt get them) Anyways, I have been attempting to map my N64 controller and have watched a number of tutorials. All of them seem to have differing methods, retroarch menus that dont match mine, use older emulators, or older retropie versions. On top of that, they tend to result in a good enough outcome. Lol. Thank you. level 2 1 point 1 month ago Should I paste these into the mupenplus64.cfg file Continue this thread level 2 1 point 1 month ago I have one in the mail right now. Thank you in advance level 1 2 points 22 days ago Id like to say I have the same issue, where Retropie forces you into placing an A button that doesnt register into the emulator itself. Continue this thread level 1 Original Poster 1 point 1 month ago I ended up mapping the controllers A button as B and the controllers B button as Y. But, I was not allowed to go without mappingg an A button, so I had to label the C down button as A. Is there anyway to change this in mupen but not in retropie menu level 1 1 point 1 month ago N64 controllers just dont have enough buttons for Retropie.
